TUNNELS
|
|
|
A good shallow second dive of the
day. The first tunnel is at 12m./40ft. where you enter and exit at
3m./10ft. In every arch way or tunnel, you can see the light of
exit point and with the longest tunnel being only 10m/ 33ft. in
length there is no need for guide lines and there is plenty of
natural light. For this dive, lights are recommended to see into
smaller homes and hiding places for any species of life including
red mullet, mullet fish, shrimp, sea cucumbers, brittle stars and
many types of sea anemones.

Probably the best dive in the Med
The wall where one starts the dives is so colourful and there are
many varieties of marine life to photograph. Along the fauna and
coral wall you will find trumpet anemones, gem anemones, daisy
anemones, strawberry anemones, devonshire cup corals, gold star
coral, soft corals, dead man fingers, sea fans and many forms of
lace coral. The Morays linger in the holes and cracks along with
small shrimp and blennies. The exit point inside and open cavern
where the most beautiful scenery above and below the water awaits
you.
